  • What should I wear to the wedding?
The dress code is smart casual (if unsure, lean towards the smart more than the casual). We want everyone to look fabulous for the photos. No jeans or polo shirts please (looking at you Gavin). Shoes! The venue is in the middle of a beautiful countryside setting – there’s grass everywhere (mown short) and decking walkways – neither of these surfaces are that great in stilettos! There are gaps in the decking where the boards expand and contract and the grass is soft if it’s been wet. You have been warned!
  • Is there a backup plan for inclement weather?
Of course! The permanent Tipi is fully heated and completely waterproof even if the heavens really open up. The panoramic frontage is clear glazed and allows you to still see the beautiful view whilst keeping out the wind and rain. P.S. Bring an umbrella just in case.
  • What and when will we eat and drink?
We have hired the Wild Oven to cater our wedding. This will be a buffet style with a range of barbecue and sides for you to choose from. If you have any dietary requirements please include the details in your RSVP. There will be a bar onsite where you can purchase drinks and a pizza van will arrive later in the evening. Just to be warned there are no faccilities for food at the venue so if you require snacks, please bring your own. We will provide a light breakfast the following morning for those that stay onsite.
